Britain’s Dan McLay claimed his first win as a professional on stage three of the Tropicale Amissa Bongo in Gabon.

The 23-year-old beat Bretagne-Seche Environnement team-mate Yauheni Hutarovich into second place and Morocco’s Salah Eddine Mraouni into third.

McLay joined the French squad over the winter and is riding his second stage race of the season.

Morocco’s Rafaa Chtioui leads the race with four stages remaining.
