CEMAC approves the removal of Visas
The Summit of the Heads of State of the Economic Community of Central African States (CEMAC) ended last Wednesday in the Gabonese capital. Following this summit, The leaders of Central African countries decided unanimously to remove visas, so that the populations of Central Africa can move freely inside the CEMAC zone.
In other words, It is the end of the visa in Central Africa. Indeed, the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) decided Wednesday following a Summit to allow the inhabitants of Central Africa to circulate freely on this part of the continent with either ID card, or biometric passport or the CEMAC biometric peer, no need for passport visa.
The decision results from the additional Act concerning the free movement of persons throughout the territory of CEMAC.
