The Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) Heads of State Summit and those of the Economic Community of West Africa (ECOWAS) expected for today in Malabo ( Equatorial Guinea) on Boko Haram was postponed to a further date.

According to an official communiqué, the delay could allow the ongoing Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, to attend the meeting, once a new date is delivered.

During a recent summit of ECCAS in Yaoundé (Cameroon), the heads of state decided to release 50 billion CFA Francs to support the two countries of the regional organization (Cameroon and Chad) engaged in the fight against terrorism.
