President Ali Bongo receives AMO’s family
Gabon President Ali Bongo received in a hearing the family of André Mba Obame, whose remains is out today, announced yesterday the Presidency spokesperson, Alain Claude Bilie By Nzé during his weekly press conference.
"The family of André Mba Obame was received by the president of the Republic", said Claude Bilie By Nzé stressing that the delegation was led by the Archbishop of Libreville, Monsignor Basile Mve Engone.
The defunct family took advantage and expressed a number of concerns about persistent rumors of a possibility to disrupt the funeral. For this purpose the family sought the Commander-in-Chief of armed forces of the order to prepare for any eventuality.
According to Alain Claude Bilie By Nzé, “security forces should oversee the funeral” whishing that the majority as the opposition can pay him a last tribute in “serenity, tranquility and peace”.
