Opposition meeting cancelled
The opposition meeting scheduled for this Thursday at Rio’s crossroads in Libreville did not took place. The opposition leaders will host a general assembly meeting on 10th to let people know about their next move.
According to Moukagni Iwangou the new chair of the opposition party, the strong presence of police prevented them to gather and talk at the foot of the monument of Tolerance of Rio until 4 pm.
As there were no electricity and no chance for them to use speakers, the opposition leaders asked their followers to get back home quietly without riots.
