Former Senate Chairperson Probably Gabon’s Next VP
There have been reports in recent days suggesting that Rose Francine Rogombé would likely succeed to Didjob Divungi Di Ndinge as the republic vice president.
The 72 year-old has strongly expressed to incumbent president Ali Bongo Ondimba her desire to continue serving the nation.
Rose Francine Rogombé was not so long ago the Senate chairperson that is, until Mrs Lucie Milebou Aubusson took over last February 27.
She was also the woman who filled in the position of head of state following former president Omar Bongo Ondimba’s passing.
Mrs Rose Francine Rogombé will be occupying a position left vacant since 2009 by Didjob Divungi Di Ndinge.
