Libreviile to host 3ed Edition of the ShieldAfrica
Gabon’s capital, Libreville will host the greatest international Defense exhibition from May 19th to May 21st, under the theme "cyber war and cyber-security”.
With the many security problems facing the continent, the ShieldAfrica, first meeting of its kind in sub-Saharan Africa, asserts itself as a privileged place to enable Head of States to understand the challenges and strategies possibilities for curbing this harmful phenomenon in order to the backup and the prosperity of the region.
In this regard, African Governments spent 40 billion (approximately 20 000 billion CFA Francs) in 2012 (1.9% of GDP on average). In the next ten years, they plan to add 20 billion (about 10 000 billion) to their security budgets.
For security professionals, this trading platform has been designed as a response to both geopolitical and economic issue. It is the preferred tool to provide relevant responses sought by those responsible for defense and internal security of the States of the continent. They have the opportunity to develop technical and commercial exchanges to the highest level.
