Cameroonian arrested with 12 ivory tusks

Police officers arrested Silvanus TchouataFouodoa Cameroonian citizen resident in Mitzic Gabon with a pile of 12 elephant tusks dissimulated in a clothing bag, report the newspaper l’Union.

The dealer was headed to Cameroon to sell his merchandise. He told the police that he bought the ivory tusks 1.7 million with a Nigeria leaving in Mayumba.

Currently the trafficker is in custody and will be conducted before the prosecutor for paying his crime.
